Eighth Share Deposit

$200.00

An eighth of beef costs $7.25/lb hanging weight. This price includes the cost of cut and wrap. An average hanging eighth weighs 65-105 lb. For an eighth share you will pay roughly $470-$770 for 45-70 lb of finished product in your freezer. This equates to $10.80/lb for all types of cuts from roasts to burger to rib steaks to stew meat. An eighth share usually takes up about 2 cubic feet of freezer space.

To give you a general sense of what you will receive in your box, the approximate cut mix of an eighth share includes 10 lb of steaks, 15 lb of roasts, 20 lb of ground, 3 lb of short ribs, 1 lb of stew, and 1 lb of bones.

This size share is standard cut only, it is not customizable. To create an eighth share, we split a quarter into two eighths as fairly as possible. Each box will differ slightly as it is not possible to divide the few cuts where there is only one cut per quarter.

We charge a delivery fee for orders beyond our local valley to cover travel costs: $20 for Twisp delivery, $50 for Seattle delivery.

**Note: This website only accepts credit card payments; we also happily accept checks. If you would prefer to pay with a check, please email us at bunchgrassbeef@gmail.com and we will tell you our address so you can mail a check to reserve your share.
